Hello all , just found this Forum this Morning....

I have a 64 Supercab / Crew Cab....Project....

I am here cause My Son and I found a 59 SuperCab 3/4 ton 4x4 for him to play with and drive...

This truck needs some LOVE..... I love you but it is a Runner driver....

It has been scabbed together using several Newer trucks as donors....It is 460/c6 powered....

We are going to rework the roofline due to a poor welding job in the past...
Also it will be getting fresh front axle, as the P.O. killed the one in it now....

I have one Big question for anyone in the know.....???
This truck is Badged and Titled as a 2 door Supercab f350...
Can anyone tell me if there were any of these truely produced in 1959...?
And if so, aproxamately How many....? I have seen several 4 door Crew's, but never a SuperCab....?

I will post pics as soon as the Wet weather will let me take a few pics....

Chat soon,
John

Hello I am not sure how many were made. They were used for the military and some forrest service. They are rare and I have not heard many with more info about them. Have you been on our Facebook Group? It's for 57-60 Fords, there is more than 950 members and over 3000 pictures links and videos of these trucks. Here's the link, Bill https://www.facebook.com/groups/57to60fords/

Hello John,

Thanks for posting about the Crown Vic front suspension on my post. I researched it and it really looks like the way to go. This site won't let me PM you for a week. Maybe we need to start a post here on the swap.

PM you soon,
Rich

I took the time to go look it over in Person....lots of little, tired, truck issues....
I ended up talking her down to 1700.00 Cash......Smile So Now we have some fix it money.....

There were 4 door, crew cabs made that were special order for military and government entities, but no "super-cab". From what I know of them, several were outfitted with a 3 cylinder diesel engine. I believe they were only offered in 2WD.
