I have a question regarding aftermarket replacement metal sold by the likes of LMC. Is it the same gauge and quality of originals, do they fit, and are they recommended?

Hello I use to sell parts for Blue Oval Truck Parts. They all sell the same things pretty much. I have used the parts myself and they may not be exact quality but they are made to last and work perfect. If you can't find the original part I highly recommend buying from the classic truck part companies out there. I hope this helps, Bill

Thanks, Bill. I didn't know if these parts were worth while for patching. Naturally the orignals are the way to go but finding unrusted floor boards isn't exactly easy. While on the subject, has anyone out there used spray-on bed liner for undercoating cabs, beds, fenders and such? What's the pros and cons to this and the more conventional undercoating?
