1959 223 Turbo F100 Build
I bought this from craigslist for $800. It had 4 flats and a motor that did not run. The truck was complete, but I have no before photos of the truck. This is the only photo I could find and its after I flipped the rear end on top of the axles. Also put a new fuel pump in and air in the tires. Now it runs great.
Guess you want see the turbo detail?
I started with the exhaust flange. Made about 3 templates out of wood before I sent it off to be laser-cut.Also check for alignment.
Get it back from the laser shop.
Next start welding the 6 exhaust runners made from black 1.25" sch.40 gas pipe found at you local plumbling shop. Also, I cut a bunch of 45 degree butt end elbows in half to make 22.5 degree elbow. The log collector in 2.5" sch.10. This is not the most efficient manifold, but maybe I will make a new one down the road.
Check it agian
Grind all the welds smooth, install end caps, and add the T3 turbo flange.
Here is the final part. I made a adaptor to run a smaller IHI turbo until it blow the oil seals.

Next I added a 1965 16 Gallon fuel tank to the rear of the truck.I followed this link.

Then cut a small notch, boxed the frame, and add some paint.
