new member and owner of a 59 f-100

just bought a 59 in great shape. it has a new 302 and c6 tranny, everything else is pretty original except the wheels and tires. It is a blast to drive around, although it is a little loose in the steering department. Just fixed the brake lights that were not working and also put seatbelts in for safety. took it 300 miles so far and got 14 mpg, I couldnt be happier. Looking forward to many more miles of 57-60 fun on the road.
