Bill,I recommend having separate sections for the following:

1.Literature (shop manual,owners manual,parts and accessories catalog, etc) photographs for each year in the 57-60 range.Could also include sales brochures and other Ford/Mercury publications such as Ford Times,The Ford Technician,etc

2.Technical write-ups(Without discussion, so as to keep the section uncluttered).To include well written directions and photos for the most common mods to our trucks, i.e. disc brake conversion,Toyota power-steering conversion,alternator upgrade,etc.

I would be able to scan and forward a lot of 1959 literature,and know of a guy who has nearly everything for 1960 year,and he may be persuaded to do likewise.In my opinion,it requires someone with very good skills in website design,to make it right,that's the key.I'm not the guy for that.It would be great for this new site to become the go-to place for Fridge owners.
