We used mono-leaf springs to lower our truck. 3 inch drop in front, 4 inch drop in rear.

It sits pretty nice. Did you notch the frame at all or change the steering?

No I just changed the leaf-springs, tire size and had the steering gearbox rebuilt by Lares Corp. Bill

I'm just getting started on a '59 stepside build. I used the reverse eye springs and redid my stock springs with them. 2" in front and 1.75" drop in rear
