My '57 panel truck has never had tail lights mounted on the body corners. No holes or anything, just the bumper mounted Ford emblem shaped metal housing with red plastic lens. Is this common? Were the body mounted lights an option? Thanks...

Hello I have only seen the ones that mounted to the body. Maybe someone changed the look some time ago. Bill
